Working to end food insecurity at KU
Annual Food Drive

Food for Jayhawks hosts an annual campus food drive in the month of October.

Collected donations support Just Food, the food pantry in Douglas County, and KU's own food pantry the Campus Cupboard located in the Kansas Union.

There are several ways to donate food and funds this month!

Add a Dollar at the KU Bookstore

During the month of October
Add a dollar or more to purchases at any KU Bookstore location or online!

Donate Food on Campus

Between October 15th and 31st
Bring non-perishable food donations to more than 15 locations across campus.

Check out our map of donation locations and our list of most needed items

Donate Funds Online

Just Food can turn $1 into 5 meals for KU students and Douglas County residents!

Use this link to donate funds directly to Just Food online. Be sure to allocate to KU Fights Hunger and add your department's name in the comments. They might win a trophy for collecting the most donations!

Go "Trunk or Treating"

Bring food donations to the Alumni Association's annual Trunk or Treat event, Friday, October 26th, 2018, 6-8pm.

Want to Help Even More....?

Check out our LaunchKU campaign active now through November 8.  In addition to our annual Food Drive, Food for Jayhawks is raising funds for on campus meals for KU students facing food insecurity.
